Account Manager
Own the customer relationship after the deal. Make sure Appear actually delivers AI visibility outcomes, not just a signed contract.

Appear helps brands show up in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Gemini. Once a customer is in, someone has to own the relationship: onboarding, connection health, content and monitoring progress, and the weekly proof that visibility is moving.
That’s this role. You’re not hunting net-new logos. You’re the person customers trust to keep the work on track and make the product feel inevitable.
You’ll own
- A book of mid-market and enterprise accounts across SaaS, agencies, ecommerce, and services
- Onboarding and connection health: CMS, analytics, and anything else that has to stay green for the customer to get value
- Regular check-ins that lead with outcomes: buyer-question coverage, citations, published pages, and next actions
- Expansion and renewal conversations when the account is ready, without turning every call into a pitch
- Customer signal back to product and ops so recurring friction gets fixed, not papered over
You bring
- 2–5 years in account management, customer success, or post-sale ownership at a B2B SaaS company
- Comfort running a book of accounts. You know who’s healthy, who’s at risk, and what to do next
- Clear written and verbal communication. Customers should leave every touch knowing the status and the plan
- Outcome orientation. You care whether the customer got cited and published, not just whether tickets closed
- You move fast, follow through, and don’t need a playbook for every edge case
Nice to have
- Experience with SEO, GEO, content, or martech customers
- Comfort explaining technical setup at a high level (CMS, analytics, DNS)
- Agency or multi-brand account experience

The product is real. Customers see their content cited by answer engines for the first time. Your job is to make that loop reliable and visible. Base salary + variable, equity, remote across Europe and North America.
